Beside those 60 seconds every hour, add a brisk walk at least 30 minutes every day and you’re soon up in the 10,000 steps you should take each day to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
An egg a day. The egg is like a big vitamin pills because it contains most of the vitamins you need to get in you for one day, like vitamins A, E, D and B. Almost all except vitamin C. In addition, the egg is full of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
Use dental floss. More and more studies show that it is very important to use dental floss. The food that gets stuck between your teeth form bacteria that go out into your blood and can lead to unnecessary illness. This reduces the risk of gingivitis and periodontal disease.
Check your pulse. By every day keeping track of your resting heart rate (the kind that the heart beats in one minute of complete rest), you can easily keep track of your health. A simple measure is to not have more than 60 beats per minute (they may differ a bit from person to person and there is nothing strange if you have 70 beats per minute) But if you begin to rise above 80 or 90 beats per minute you should see of your health and maybe do a health check. An American study from 2010 shows that if you have a resting pulse of 90 beats per minute, increase the risk by three times the risk of serious heart problems.
Self-massage and breathing. When you are stressed, you create an imbalance in the body. Help yourself to wind down by massaging your temples, pressing lightly with your fingertips just under the eyebrows, from the middle and all the way out and also massage the earlobes. While you do this, remember to take deep breaths through your nose and far down in the stomach.
